Beginner’s beekeeping course for new beekeepers and hobbyists.
We run a bee course for beginners on a Saturday for a full day. Learners that do not have bee suits or jackets of their own MUST hire one of ours for the day and this is not included in the course fee.
Hire of a bee suit or jacket for the bee course is R100 extra for the day.

After lunch, we get into the bee hive together! Come on tour inside working bee colonies!

How to place frames to avoid confusing the bees?
What does a egg cell versus pollen cell look like?
How do I tell when honey is RIPE for harvesting so your honey doesn’t ferment and go to waste?!
We discuss loads more on the live Hive inspection together!
