🚶 Walks
There will be two walks: one on Saturday and one on Sunday.
Malham – 11 miles: A classic circular walk straight from our accommodation, we visit Janets Foss waterfall, Gordale Scar, Malham Tarn and the Cove. This is a fantastic walk that covers all the essential highlights for a visit to Malham.
Settle – 11 miles: A circular walk with lots of features, starting from the village of Langcliffe on the outskirts of Settle. There are three waterfalls - Stainforth Force (and the chance to spot leaping salmon), Catrigg Force and Scalaber force. There are also lots of caves to explore – including Jubilee and Victoria Cave.
Walks may change depending on the weather.
🏠Accommodation
We have several 4 bedded en-suite dormitories with bunk beds booked at the YHA. Rooms will be filled on a single sex basis and we have space for 18 of us in total.

A drying room is available for boots and wet clothes after the walk.

Bedding is provided but towels are not.
🍽️ Food
Friday night you can choose to cook your own meal in the YHA kitchen (it is very well equipped), book to eat at one of the village pubs or make your own arrangements. On the Saturday night we have a group booking to eat at the pub next door to the YHA – The Lister Arms.
The hostel do a cooked breakfast but this needs to be booked at the hostel, the night before.
You will need to bring your own lunch provisions and tea, coffee, milk etc. Food needs to be labelled when stored in the shared kitchen.
