🥾 10 miles 🥾 Moderate 🥾 Leader: Louise M 🥾This is my first walk I am leading with Midlife Hikers. I have chosen one of my favourite local walks through the rolling vales of Huggate. Enjoy beautiful countryside, it is slightly undulating but nothing too strenuous. The walk is 10 miles from the village of Huggate, starting from the car park to the east of the village.
There can be livestock in the field, although no young calves at this time of year.

🥪 You will need to bring a packed lunch
🐶 Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and must be kept on a lead at all times
☕ Refreshments available after the walk at the lovely Rachel's Walnut Café, which is open until 4pm. She likes to know how many are attending so I will confirm with before we set off. Please note, dogs are restricted to the outside areas. Alternatively, there is a pub if people prefer.
🚻 Sorry but there are no toilets until we get to the café/pub at the end
Midlife Hikers is a Ramblers group for people in their 40s and 50s, and our walks are led by volunteers. Non-members are welcome to try us out for free for up to 3 walks but then we ask you to join the Ramblers
