Come and join us for a social evening of fun and laughter, as we do battle with an escape room at Mindlock, opposite Clifford's Tower in York. We will play in teams of 6 helping to solve puzzles, using strategy, creativity and logic or we just hope for the best that we can escape. We are allowed up to 1 hour in the rooms.🎫 Places are limited and on a first-come first-served basis. Tickets cost £16 each, please email Tanya on [email protected] to book, and she will let you know how to send payment. Your place is not booked until you have sent the money!
🅿️ The nearest car parks are Castle and St George's Field, or you can use any of the Park & Ride services
🚌 Mindlock is within easy reach of all buses to York city centre, and a 10–15 minute walk from the railway station
🍺 We'll be meeting for a drink in the Blue Boar on Castlegate for a drink beforehand, from 6.30pm, and we can head back there or to another pub afterwards as well to celebrate our escape!
⏰ You must arrive at Mindlock by 7.45pm. If you are late and miss the briefing then you may not be allowed to join the room and would forfeit your entry fee.
Midlife Hikers is a Ramblers group for people in their 40s and 50s, and our walks and events are run by volunteers.
