The Words - A Month of Sundays

Sundays, 5–7pm | 8–22 February
A vibrant, community-focused festival celebrating storytelling, poetry, performance and song. The Words brings together writers, performers, creatives and lovers of the English language to enrich East Cork’s cultural landscape. We will create a welcoming space to celebrate the written, spoken and sung word, from the first spark of creativity onto the page, the stage and the song.
Alongside our live events will be a Visual Literary Art Exhibition featuring John McHarg, East Cork Music Project and Belinda Walsh, plus children’s storytelling sessions at Midleton Books and Midleton Library on Saturdays 7th, 14th & 21st (3–4pm).
