We have had an increase in attempts and interest in the Midlands Tops Round.To assist you with getting to know the route, learn the trails and gain valuable knowledge we are holding a number of recce days.
Dates are:-
July 6th - Lickey side, final section from Waseley to the finish, then the start to Waseley.
Sept 28th - Lickey side, final section from Waseley to the finish, then the start to Waseley.
Oct 12th. - Clent side, middle section from Waseley to Clent and back.
�Waseley Hills Country Park, Gannow Green Lane, B45 9AT which has an amazing cafe for coffee/cake after the run.
� 08:30, lasting approximately 2hrs will be dictated by the group, this is a recce, not a hard run.

Distance: approx 8 miles
Elevation: approx 1500ft
Kit: appropriate clothing for the weather. You should also bring spare top and bottoms, waterproof, first aid kit, map, compass or gpx, fuel and water. Trail shoes. Kit will be checked and is for your own safety. We will be off road and on remote trails, we need to be able to keep you safe at all times.
The MTR is designed to take in all the tops between the Lickey Hills and Clent, following check points along the way. The majority is on bridleways and paths, some road, and plenty of hills. For the fitter its runnable, but will be a fitting challenge for all.
