Our NCC Middle/Senior School Swimming Carnival is on Wednesday, 7 February 2024. Students will travel from NCC by bus to the Nambour Aquatic Centre.All students at Nambour Christian College can be involved in this day either as participants, spectators, or helpers. Our swimming carnivals are an integral part of the school calendar, so all students must attend.
Parent Attendance: Parents are welcome to attend the swimming carnival. Please bring your own chair. Minimal shade provided. There is an entry fee of $2.50 for spectators.
Transport Arrangements: NCC will provide buses from and returning to the College.
Time: Students will arrive at school as usual and be transported to the Nambour Aquatic Centre by bus. The carnival will conclude by 2.30pm, and students will return to school by bus for routine home-time procedures.
Clothing/what to bring: Students must wear swimwear and bring a towel and sun safety apparel. (Girls should wear a modest one-piece swimsuit, and boys should wear a standard speedo and/or board shorts no longer than the knee.) Students must also bring a hat, sunscreen and a large water bottle.
Lunch Arrangements: Students will have to bring their morning tea/lunch. Canteen services may be limited.
