Hobbits, Orcs, Elves and Men all battle it out for control of the realms of Middle Earth in Alpha Games' next MESBG event!Will you side with the forces of good or will you aim to bring darkness to the land and feast on Hobbit meat?
Event Details:
• 16 players maximum.
• Ticket Entry Price: £12 payment is required in advance. Please PayPal entry to [email protected], including the event name in the info box.

• You will be required to upload your army list on the Longshanks event page no later than Friday 10th October 2025.
• You must bring 1 army list from the newest edition of Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game, and your list must not be greater than 525 Points in size, or exceed 40 models.
• Armies of Middle-earth army lists will not be permitted for this event, as the book is not officially released until event day.
• The following lists are not permitted at this event: The Eagles
• Siege engines are not permitted
• 4 games at 1 hour 45 minutes game time limit each. Last turn will be called at 1 hour 40 minutes. Dice down will be called at 1 hour 50 minutes.
• A random scenario will be played each round, with no duplicate pools used.
• 3 Points, 1 Point and 0 Points awarded for wins, draws and losses respectively
• Tiebreakers are in the order: Total Victory Point difference, Total Victory Points.
• All newest errata and FAQs to be followed
• There is no painting requirement for this event.
