• 32 players maximum. “First Come, First Served” Simply email me that you are attending, to my address at the bottom of this page. I will have a wait-list, and since there are always last-minute changes to people’s plans, it’s worth putting your name on the list if you might be able to attend, but aren’t sure. Player adds and drops will be noted on the DCHL Events and Tournaments Facebook page right up until the event.
• $10 entry fee. No pre-payment necessary. Small awards and/or store credit will be presented to the top 3 finishers, and others determined by the tournament organizer and/or attendee voting.
• 3 Rounds of 2 hours each. Round 1 opponents will be determined by random draw, with table numbers being drawn from a cup, one for Good armies, and one for Evil armies. If there are unequal numbers, the last several to draw will play Good vs. Good or Evil vs. Evil. Second round pairings will be determined by Top Evil versus Top Good, and so on down the list. Third round pairings will be based upon points rankings only.
• Final Top places are determined by, in this order, 1) Most Wins, 2) Most Tournament Points, and 3) Most Scenario Victory Points. In the unlikely event of a tie, it will be broken by a head-to-head dice roll; highest wins.
• Fully Painted Armies are requested (Please apply Three Colors & basing).
• Your army list should comply with the current rules using the Middle Earth SBG Rulebook. Any publication produced by GW containing profiles for Middle Earth SBG are allowed in the event. There are no Alliance or size restrictions to Army composition beyond those contained in the rules.
• 700 pts maximum.
• Non-GW Models, proxied models, and conversions are permitted. Models must be similar in size and aesthetics to the actual model produced by Games Workshop; if the model in question does not exist, then the model must be the height and size of similarly sized models.
• Proxied models must be equipped with the exact same war gear of the original GW model.
• Models may not be converted to use weapons and war gear that is not listed in its profile.
• Heroes can be proxied if the proxied model is the same race as the original GW miniature. Warrior models can be proxied, but make sure your opponent is absolutely clear on what they represent and this must be consistent for all of the same unit type. If you have any questions about any of the above, please ask, either by posting your question on the DCHL Events and Tournaments Facebook Page, or by emailing me at [email protected].
