Come and celebrate the Winter Solstice together with us in the woods.
The winter solstice is a time to journey inwards, stop and be calm, appreciate the return of the light and warmth which we may take for granted. In the mad bustle and busyness of buying and rushing it is needed more than ever to just be in nature with others around a fire with a warm tasty treat.
Connect to the evergreen, make a seasonal craft to take home, sip a warming mulled fruit punch around the fire.
Time together round the fire, cooking, art and craft, seasonal observation and bushcraft.
A family group for children and their parent/carer where all enjoy and benefit from this little woodland community.
Directions: From the entrance of the Railway Lands follow the pink ribbons past the linklater along the path, we are in a clearing down the steps
Ages 2-12, dress for the weather!
