Tournament Structure & Rules

There is a 32-player cap while we work on increasing our operational capacity to cater to much larger tournaments.
The tournament format will be determined on the day based on turnout. It can be: 3-on-3, Pick 3 Choose 1, or 1-on-1; please prepare and practice for all types of gameplay.
The qualifying rounds will either be round robins, Swiss, double-elimination, or single-elimination depending on numbers.
The play-offs and finals format will be announced on the day.
Please arrive on time, as you will miss out on points or forfeit your matches if you are late.

Competitor Requirements

• 3x Beyblade X Beys with no repeating parts
• Maximum 3x different launchers
• Deck Box
• Sportsmanship & Fun Vibes!
Only Takara Tomy or Hasbro Beyblades may be used. You may be disqualified for the entire tournament if you bring fakes or modified Beyblades. No refunds for entry fees will be provided.

Prizes

The tournament's prize structure depends on the number of participants and may be subject to change.
Those who qualify will be rewarded with prizes. For example, if there are 16 players, 8 will proceed to the playoffs and will be awarded prizes based on their rank:
• 8 Players = Top 3 or 4 will be prized (prize pool max: $125)
• 16 Players = Top 4 or 8 will be prized (prize pool max: $250)
• 32 Players = Top 8 or 16 will be prized (prize pool max: $500)
And so on...

BBNZ's first tournament of the month is our low-stakes tournament with plenty of rewards but with player stats being logged into the BBNZ's official rankings.
Spectators are free and they are more than welcome to cheerlead and help competitors train in between their matches!
The entry fee covers:
• Takara Tomy Beyblade X Prizes
• Premium venue hire from 9:00 am
• Facilities, tables, chairs, projectors, and restrooms
• Other costs such as wear and tear of equipment
• A video of the entire tournament from start to finish!
There are drinks and snacks available for purchase on-site, and there are plenty of eateries nearby.
Please arrive early to register - there is a player cap, and it is first come, first served.
