Held at our specialty food store, this class will immerse you in the world of bold spices, umami-rich sauces, and unique flavors that define Asian cuisine. Whether you're a home chef looking to expand your pantry or a food lover curious about new ingredients, this class offers a perfect blend of education and sensory exploration.
During the class, you'll be guided through a curated selection of premium ingredients, ranging from traditional staples to modern gourmet items. You'll explore the essential flavors of various Asian cuisines, including Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Korean, and Vietnamese, and gain insights into the cultural significance of each ingredient. A culinary expert will discuss how these ingredients are used in cooking, and you'll learn how to identify the quality and authenticity of items such as soy sauce, miso, fish sauce, rice vinegar, and exotic spices.

To fully participate in the class:
1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a cheese plate, wine, and accompaniments for one.
2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 8:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a half. After class, there will be time to tour our cheese caves as well as shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).
3. This event is for 21+. Our staff will check IDs at the door.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
