Local Lauraville resident Buzz Merrick who plays guitar, harps & banjitar, is sharing the stage with a very special guest, “Ramblin’ Deano” Schlabowske, on Sat. Nov 2nd at 7:30. Buzz plays originals & covers from Neil Young, John Prine, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, The Eagles and more, and is co-host of Micky’s Joint Open Jams each month. “Ramblin’ Deano” resides in Lafayette, LA. and is co-founder, songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist for the alt-country rock band Waco Brothers. The Waco Brothers blaze with alt-country fire in the tradition of the Clash. Dean’s songs are songs of protest, often humorous, and performed with passion and blasts of acoustic punk.
