Often referred to as ‘The bald guy with the long hair’, Mick Miller is a true Comedy Legend.Comedy has evolved over the years and so has Mick Miller. He got his big break on ITV’s “New Faces” which was the premier talent show of its day. He became a household name when he was a regular on ITV’s “The Comedians” and has continued to work solidly ever since.
Nowadays, he is equally at home entertaining worldwide on cruise ships, corporate events, theatres, and the new style Comedy Clubs.
His TV work has included acting roles with Johnny Vegas and he also appeared in Peter Kay’s hugely successful Car Share. He was the “stand out” performer on the primetime ITV series, Last Laugh in Vegas, where he travelled to the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas to perform at one of Sin City’s iconic venues. His performance gained critical acclaim from his peers and the public.
Acclaimed stand-up comic and pro TV writer Meryl O’Rourke revels in her bitterness. She has delighted live comedy audiences and written some of the best gags on telly.
She has written for The Olivier Awards, Dress To Impress and every series of New World Order. She supported Frankie Boyle for part of his last tour, at his request. She also supported him at the Hammersmith Apollo. In his book 'Work! Consume! Die!' he calls Meryl "Inspiringly funny".
