An extraordinary night of poetry and live music comes to St John’s Church, Walsall Wood, on Friday 10 October.
Mick and Music is a show that takes us on a journey charting the life, work, love and loss of Black Country poet Mick Daulman.
The poems are that rare thing, real and raw, inspiring and incisive, they will make you laugh and cry.
The music, featuring live performances of songs from The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Black Sabbath, Badly Drawn Boy, Queen, The Kinks and Tom Lehrer, offers an interlinking sub-text mirroring the poetical journey.
The show starts at 7.30pm, doors open at 6.45.
