Michigan Makers Market is a juried, indoor art and craft fair at The Hawk Community Center featuring over 50 artists. The event features free admission and an array of high-quality art in a variety of price ranges and disciplines including ceramics, jewelry, painting, photography, wood, wearable art, glass, leather and sculpture.There will be an Oktoberfest vibe with live music and drinks on the Exhibit Hall Patio at The Hawk. Guests can enjoy beer, wine, pretzels, pizza and slushies as they shop.
But the Makers Market is more than just a craft fair - it's a chance for community members to find out how they, too, can become a maker at The Hawk's immersive Makerspace. The Makerspace is a place that empowers makers of all ages and abilities to learn a new craft by providing access to all the necessary tools and equipment, as well as a creative community with a wealth of resources and knowledge, from sewing to woodworking. Some of our artisans created their work at the Makerspace!
