Come join us at The Hawk - Farmington Hills Community Center for a annual celebration, culture, and community.
This year, we are honored to have a special speaker who is a writer, anthropologist and food culture observer. Ms. Zhuang Zuyi came to Michigan to give our keynote speech.
With a background spanning music, food, and humanities, Ms. Zhuang Zuyi has lived and traveled extensively across multiple countries. She uses cuisine to document culture and observes people and their emotions through the dining table. She not only writes about the deliciousness of food, but also explores the stories and humanity behind it.
Ms. Zhuang Zuyi has also been interviewed by CommonWealth Magazine and various media outlets many times.
🎤Special Lecture: "The Human Field on the Dining Table"
In this sharing session, Zhuang Zuyi will take us into her anthropological perspective:
From migrating around the world to building connections through the kitchen in a foreign land
This is a journey about the taste of home, the memory of culture, and the gentle connection between people.
