About this Event
Michiana VegFest is a FREE vegan food festival, run by a group of dedicated volunteers, to promote the ethical, health, and environmental benefits of a plant-based diet. The event will feature cooking demonstrations by local and national chefs as well as food—including free samples—from local and regional vendors. Lectures by prominent national authors and health professionals will reveal animal agriculture's environmental impact, ethical issues associated with the meat and dairy industries, and the many health benefits of a plant-based diet. We expect close to 100 vendors and exhibitors. There will also be a fun-filled, informational, and experiential Kids' Corner as well as live music.
Our festival is open to all members of our communities in southwestern Michigan and northern Indiana as well as students from neighboring colleges. VegFest encourages everyone to support local vegan-friendly businesses and organizations. In addition, Michiana VegFest has developed an ongoing program, VegEDU, to educate our community on health and environmental issues.
In 2025, Michiana VegFest will take place at Gillespie Center for the first time! There is ample free parking and a bus stop for those who prefer to travel by bus.
EVERYONE is invited to VegFest!
You can order up to 5 tickets for you and your family or friends. Each person gets their own QR code & PDF ticket. So, if you register for yourself and four friends, you'll have 5 PDF tickets to redeem. This means that not everyone has to show up at once.
