Michelle Held is a contemporary folk musician known for her distinctive voice and captivating songwriting style, delving into life's mysteries and unveiling hidden wisdom. As a cornerstone of the Michigan music scene, her emotionally resonant live performances and lyrical talent have earned her three consecutive Honorable Mentions in the prestigious Telluride Troubadour Contest. Renowned folk icon Tom Paxton said, “Two years ago, I told Michelle that I thought she had the gift. I am changing ‘thought’ to ‘know.’” With her gentle, thoughtful presence, Held creates a warm space for listeners to immerse themselves in beautiful vocals and genuine heartfelt narratives. Michelle will be joined by Emily Rose singing harmony for this performance.
