The Micheli Lecture 2024 Sport Specialization: Utilization of Ultrasound and Regenerative Interventions for the Adolescent and Young Athlete course will cover the use of ultrasound in adolescent and young adult athletes, including assessment of growth cartilage, dynamic testing for hip and shoulder stability, and the application of ultrasound in athletes with coexisting conditions. It will also explore emerging ultrasound-guided regenerative techniques and their timing of intervention and return to play.The course will be complemented by an optional half day of cadaver and live model demonstration on ultrasound which will cover the ultrasound methods described in the course.
