Michaele reached out to Jack's Joint because she heard that we have a great piano. (It's true.) She has been playing with great pianist, David Becherer, and wanted a real piano so that the songs come off in the right way. These are classic standards from the jazz songbook, and while a keyboard would be nice, a real piano, in tune, is irreplaceable. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Michaele has fallen in love with St. Louis and is here to stay! A vocalist with a strong foundation in classical music, Michaele enjoys performing a variety of genres. From January 2022 to June 2022, Michaele was the lead singer of the German rock band, ÜberCool, but left the band to pursue other interests. Since the summer of 2022, Michaele has devoted herself to the study of jazz, funk, soul, and R&B. She began composing during December of 2022, and her debut album of original jazz fusion music will be released in 2024.
Michaele obtained a B.M. in Vocal Performance cum laude from Kennesaw State University in 2012. An award-winning coloratura soprano, Michaele is well known for her beautiful interpretations of operatic arias, art song, and German lieder. She's had the honor of working with Capitol City Opera (2013-2018), the Atlanta Opera (2013), Act3 Productions (2015), and Opera On Tap Atlanta (2017-2018). Michaele moved to St. Louis in 2018, where she performed with Union Avenue Opera in the chorus of La Boheme (2019).
