Michael has been dancing since age 5 under the guidance of his mother and uncle (Michael Kiehm), both internationally acclaimed Champions! He has been teaching for over 35 years in Swing, Latin, Country, and Ballroom and is a Master Instructor with Global GPDIA.🚀
Michael, known for his unique style of instruction, approach and quality! He is dedicated to the growth of WCS as a fun and exciting social activity for everyone to enjoy. He is also currently competing on the UCWDC circuit in Division 1

Sat, Aug 23- SPECIALITY WORKSHOPS
Location- Bayou Dance Club
PRIVATES- 10am-1pm
3pm- "Turn Right Around" An important rotation technique for balance and style
4pm- "Happy Feet" Footwork variations used by top level dancers
5pm- "Body Action" How to incorporate proper body movements for styling and patterns
6-7:30pm- Dinner break on your own
TAMPA FLOORPLAY WCS
7:30pm- "Michael's Favorite Patterns" for both leaders and followers!
8:30-Midnight- Social dance- Music is WCS with a few two step, nightclub and waltz sprinkled in
SATURDAY PRICING: CASH ONLY/PAY AT DOOR
1 afternoon workshop- $25
2 afternoon workshops- $40 (save $10)
3 afternoon workshops- $55 (save $20)
Full pass BEST DEAL- includes all 3 afternoon workshops plus evening workshop and dance $70 (save $30)
Evening workshop and dance only- $25

Sunday- COMPETITION INTENSIVES
EACH COMPETITION INTENSIVE IS LIMITED TO 10 COUPLES OR 20 PEOPLE. Message Danielle to pre pay and reserve your spot. Venmo or Zelle. First come first serve;)

12-2pm- "GET YOUR CRITIQUE ON" SIGN UP WITH A PARTNER OF YOUR CHOICE.
Michael will give in depth instruction and feedback for each dancer to help improve your scores and make a lasting impression on the competition floor! You will also get the benefit of hearing all the other dancers feedback which you can apply to your own dancing!
2-2:30pm- Practice
2:30-4:30pm- "PREPARING FOR COMPETITION- Elevate Your WCS Game on the Competition Floor"
Michael will cover key elements to help you gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed on the competition floor, as well as valuable insight into the judging process and what sets top competitors apart!
