More About Michael:
Michael Harrison is an accomplished and versatile standup comedian who tours the globe performing in comedy clubs, cruise ships, colleges, corporates and temples. He has been showcased in his own nationally syndicated half hour comedy special that aired across North America and a Dry Bar comedy special called “Overcritical!” Michael has also produced a comedy album called “Freak Laugh” that debuted at #1 on I-tunes, Spotify, and Amazon. Avid radio listeners may have heard clips from this album on several programs all over Sirius XM where he is in constant rotation.
Michael’s comedy was also displayed in several prestigious comedy festivals including twice at the Just for Laughs in Montreal, the Clean Showcase show at Laughfest, and as the main headliner at the Windsor Comedy festival to name a few.
In the acting world, Michael has appeared in several TV shows that include “The Bridge”, “A Good Cop”, “Queer as Folk”, and “Being Erica”. In 2021, he began writing, producing, directing and starring in a series of his own satirical shorts. These shorts include the mockumentary "Selfish History Channel”, animated classic "Basement Biden", and the multi award-winning "Delusional Man at Work" and "Where's my White Privilege.” The latter of which earned him the Gold Award for the Best Actor in a Comedy from the Best Actor Awards-NY and Finalist for Funniest Short at the 2021 Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.
In between his touring, Michael also produces and star's in his podcast “Character Debates”, which has received several accolades including a World Wide Comedy Award nomination for Best Comedy Podcast of 2021!
