Michael Beach (AUS, Goner) After a year of downtime and writing, Michael Beach emerges with 'The Sea,' the first release from his recent collaborations with Mick Turner (Dirty Three) and Joe Talia (Oren Ambarchi, Ned Collette), mixing pulsing minimalism with post-punk/DIY approaches. A new 7" (out Sept 21 via 25 Diamonds) will coincide with his upcoming US tour with Tropical Fuck Storm, and will be available on coloured vinyl exclusively at shows. Beach and his band will play Oct 4th at Lux on a day off from the Tropical Fuck Storm national tour. It's liquid music, always moving. We gratefully accept influences from Fela Kuti, Can, and the Stooges.
