This workshop will highlight their environmental importance and introduce you to the wildlife that inhabits and uses them. Attending will give you a deeper understanding of vernal pools and their role in the ecosystem. The workshop will begin with an overview of vernal pools and reporting guidelines. The second part will include a guided walk to a nearby vernal pool, where participants will have hands-on experience.
