French Regional Park is a stunning natural oasis that offers something for everyone. The Skyview picnic area, where our gathering will take place, is the perfect spot for a day of relaxation and camaraderie. Surrounded by beautiful greenery and scenic views, this location provides a serene backdrop for our picnic.
For those with little ones, the park boasts a large and exciting playground where the children can run, jump, and play to their hearts' content.
In addition to the playground, French Regional Park features hiking trails that take along the shores of Medicine Lake and a lagoon area that was the site of a recent survey on urban turtle populations.
This year, we are organizing a delightful potluck picnic, where everyone can contribute their favorite dish to the table. To ensure a wide variety of delicious treats, we have set up a Google Forms sign-up sheet where you can let us know what you plan to bring. Let's showcase our culinary skills and share some tasty delights with our fellow society members. Also feel free to bring a drink of your choosing if you want something other than water.
The society will be providing mouthwatering pulled pork sandwiches as well as bottled water for all attendees. So come hungry and ready to indulge in some delectable food while surrounded by like-minded individuals who share your passion for scaly friends.
