Conference Objectives

• Describe the benefits of evidence-based nursing practice.
• Explain the key steps of evidence-based practice.
• Begin the evidence-based practice process by creating a PICO question for a clinical question or problem you have identified.
• Discuss development of a culture of inquiry.
• Practice formulating a PICO question.
• Reviewing strategies for finding evidence-based on your PICO.
• Discuss methods to assess the evidence found.
• Understanding next steps in the EBP process.

Accreditation

Registered Nurses: The Nursing Education Department of Meritus Health is accredited as a provider of Nursing Continuing Professional Development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

4.25 ANCC Contact hours will be awarded with participation in 100% of conference and completion of conference evaluation. No partial credit will be awarded.
