Welcome back MGDGer’s to 2026 Flex start League!We hope everyone has enjoyed our exciting changes coming for this year’s Flex Start Comp! Dont forget that have now extended flex week through to the 7th of the month, so next Saturday evening, and not only have we extended the duration, but we will now be offering flex rounds to be completed for 3 different layouts!! We will continue to offer Crater Lakes Advanced layout, we have also brought back the Crater Lakes Amateur layout, and we have also included the Blue Lake Sports Park course as an option. So over the course of the season, you will have the opportunity to complete 36 rounds of flex start golf. Flex week will commence from the 1st – 7th of every month to make it easy to remember.
All 3 layouts will be scored as separate events so you will have 3 chances to take out a flex start crown at seasons end. Your best 6 rounds will be tallied to give you an average score.
For both Crater Lakes Am and Advanced layout we will be continuing to run as a handicap scoring system. Blue Lake Sports park will be off scratch with divisions still to be finalised.
Please ensure you register via the link below (will also be available on the flex start group page) just prior to commencing your round and be sure you select which layout you are registering for. You must register for each layout you choose to play. We will no longer be putting up rego sign on hole 1 so you must use the link.

Please just record your scratch score and any handicap scores will be calculated following the round. We will keep you posted in the near future of all players handicap ratings and supply an ongoing leader board for the flex season.
All other flex rules from previous seasons will still apply. Register for your round at hole 1, 2 club members on your card. Screenshot of score card to be uploaded to flex start Facebook group. Scratch scores will continue to be uploaded to a Metrix competition at the completion of round for record keeping purposes.

Entry for non-members is $5 adults, $2.50 juniors.
