MFSB - The Real Deal Disco DoFormer ‘super club’ resident at Progress in Derby, RobJamWeb (Rob Webster) has been involved in the bricks and mortar of the dance music foundations for many decades.
Metaphorically speaking, he’s contributed to the building of more than one room in those musical foundations, absorbing influences from places such as Detroit, Chicago, and the Roule sound of Paris, as his numerous productions convey.
RobJamWeb has way too many production accolades under his belt to list individually here, suffice to say that our guest today has achieved THREE number one slots in the dance charts, back in the days when that mattered, AND he’s had a top ten hit in the national chart under the moniker of ‘The Boy Wunda’. Today RobJamWeb has a rather healthy obsession with REAL disco, and labels such as Prelude, Sam, Salsoul, and U.K. labels such as Champagne and Ensign.
It’s that passion for disco, edits and house records that sample proper disco that we focus on at MFSB today, as Rob explores all these musical avenues, whist putting his incredible keyboard skills to use over the tracks. Expect disco, expect house music, expect edits, and expect RobJamming over some killa cuts.
