In fact, many of our guests contact us to DJ at MFSB on the back of our reputation for playing proper underground house music, rare disco and boogie, rare and underplayed soul, modern and forgotten house ‘n’ disco gems. Our Italian special in February is a prime example of how MFSB thinks out of the box, and what a day that was, with a capacity crowd.
We were sat here pondering who to book for MFSB in March, and we were like holy shit, Nick Peacock fi Glasgow is a darn tootin’ brilliant DJ with a history, knowledge and record collection that is to be envied by any DJ hoping to be the new kid in town.
Like our own Yogi, Nick was in the first wave of resident DJ’s at the famous Sub Club, and he has played at so many legendary nights over the years...Except MFSB!! Currently Nick is the main resident at Glasgow’s packed Buff Club, and is headin’ into Edinburgh for MFSB, before riding off into the sunset to play the Buff again tonight.
Anybody that knows of Nick Peacock is aware that his musical knowledge runs as deep, and as wide as the Grand Canyon. This is a mighty rare visit by the ‘West Coast Kid’, so don’t blow it! Get your posse together, as it could be a mighty long time before Nick rides into town again to shoot up the town with his musical bullets.
