About this Event

#Makanforhope is a get-together to bring the tech community closer together over food/ drinks and raise awareness to worthy causes and encourage the spirit of paying forward. #Makanforhope is an in-person initiative that continues from #Mentorforhope, a mentoring and charity fundraising campaign supported by many Asean venture capital firms and tech industry leaders, as well as Temasek Foundation (through oscar@sg grant) last year.

For our #7 session, our host is Yen Lu Chow and he will be sharing on "How to leverage Mentorship for Success".

Our Organiser is Samantha Lim, CEO, Cloud Tech.

Nominated beneficiary is Red Cross Singapore. 8 May is also World Red Cross Day - an occasion for Red Cross to raise awareness about their causes and for the community to recognize the steadfast work of humanitarians.

As Makan For Hope is all about giving back, we are proud to share that 85% proceeds are donated to our nominated charity beneficiary for the month and 15% are retained to offset operating expenses. Note that cost of food and beverages consumed at Pizza Face is not included in the ticket cost. Thank you!
