TO: ALL MOTSEPE’S FUNERAL HOME BURIAL SOCIETIESRE: PROPOSED INCREASE OF MONTHLY PREMIUMS
After long deliberations within the Management team of Motsepe’s Funeral Home (MFH), it was deemed relevant that the premiums for all the Burial Societies be increased effectively from 01st April 2025.
The premium adjustment will be as follows:
From R230.00 to R275.
From R250.00 to R275.
From R395.00 to R420.00.
The reasons behind the increase were influenced by the following factors:
• Increase of coffin prices on annual basis.
• Constant increase of fuel prices over the past few years.
• Increase in food prices.
• Amongst other things, cost of living in general has increased. E.g. Electricity, salaries, etc.
• To add on that, MFH has not increased the premiums in the approximately past five years.
