On October 12th(weather permitting) the Meyers Community Foundation (MCF) will host the 11th annual Meyers Outdoor Gear Swap in the Westgate Center parking lot adjacent the Divided Sky from 8:00AM to 1:30PM. Please read all the below details to ensure you arrive at the correct time for selling, shopping, and pickup. Looking for some sweet gear? Shop until you drop for skis, snowboards, bikes, paddle gear, climbing gear, camping equipment, and other outdoor toys. Shopping is from 10:00AM to 12:30PM, the goods go fast so get there early!
Cash or credit cards will be accepted (we can tap too).
If you’ve got quality summer or winter gear to sell, come on down. Merchandise registration will take place in the parking lot between 8:00am –9:30am; there is a $1 cash per item fee to register it for the swap. Please only bring equipment that's in good condition.
Unsold merchandise can be picked up between 12:30PM & 1:30PM; unclaimed items will be donated.
20% of proceeds from consigned merchandise will go to the MCF (ex: if an item is for sale at $20 the MCF receives $4 and the seller receives $16).
Please remember this is a fundraiser!
If you want to make a bigger contribution and increase your impact in the community, gear donations to the MCF are appreciated. The MCF is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to improving life in Meyers, California through its support and promotion of creative and sustainable local projects and community-enhancing events like the annual holiday tree lighting, the OMG Fun Run, bike racks around Meyers, and a new mural at the bridge in Tahoe Paradise Park.
