About this Event
The Mexico Country Outlook is an annual event and report produced by the Baker Institute Center for the U.S. and Mexico that unpacks the major policy issues facing Mexico and the U.S.-Mexico relationship in the year ahead. Now in its 2026 edition, the program provides investors, businesses, policy makers and the public with a strategic edge to navigate the complexity of Mexico’s policy landscape and the challenges and opportunities of the coming year.
This year’s Mexico Country Outlook public release event will feature Tony Payan, director of the Center for the U.S. and Mexico, who will present the report’s major findings and discuss Mexico’s political, economic, and security outlook, as well as emerging trends in trade, energy, and environmental policy. Open to both the public and members of the media, the event will provide an opportunity to learn directly from Payan about the report’s findings, gain deeper insight into Mexico’s evolving policy environment and explore its implications for U.S.-Mexico relations in 2026.
