Mexican at Home: Sopes!
Join Chef Fabi at Burnt Bridge Creek Cellars Class Cooking for an evening of classic Mexican antojitos cooking, which means crave-able in Spanish! Sopes are a mix between a taco and tostada made with a thicker corn base and filled with delicious marinaded meat and topped with a assortment of salsas, avocado, Mexican cheese, and so much more! These were Chef Fabi's Mama's favorite little treats!
We'll be making it all from scratch!
What to expect:
Class will include all instruction, tools, recipes and ingredients.
There will be some demo, and lots of time for hands-on cooking.
Sampling the Sopes at the end of class or taking home leftovers. Be sure to bring tupperware!
This class will contain chicken but can be made vegan friendly if you email Chef Fabi first.
This class is dairy free friendly, gluten free friendly, vegetarian, and vegan friendly. You must email Chef Fabi your allergies before class so she can have the ingredients there for your dietary needs.

Chef Fabi has been teaching cooking classes for over 12 years in the Portland area. She attended culinary school 14 years ago and has worked in many kitchens since but found her love of being a cooking instructor along the way. Chef Fabi was born in Mexico to a Mexican and Spanish family and learned how to cook from her Mama, Fabiola. She now shares her families recipes in all of her cooking classes with you!
