Esta es una ceremonia tradicional-cultural que se ha celebrado en todo el Anáhuac durante milenios. Celebraremos la llegada del año nuevo según la cuenta del tiempo Tolteca-Azteca y el próximo ciclo agrario, regido por la llegada del agua. Estas ceremonias marcan la preparación para el ciclo agrícola que sostiene nuestras vidas.
El Año Nuevo, Calli 13 (13 Casa), está arraigado en la cosmología de nuestros ancestros. Este año simboliza un tiempo de arraigo, refugio y transformación. Su dirección es el oeste, un lugar de introspección y protección asociado con Tepeyollotl. Requiere estabilidad, fortaleza y un enfoque comunitario para navegar los cambios que trae este año. El número 13 significa la culminación y la armonización de los ciclos.

MEXICA NEW YEAR | Matlactli Huan Yei Calli
This is a traditional-cultural ceremony that has been celebrated throughout the Anahuak for millennia. We will celebrate the arrival of the new year according to the Toltec-Aztec time count and the next agrarian cycle, governed by the arrival of water. These ceremonies mark the preparation for the agricultural cycle that sustains our lives.
The New Year, Calli 13 (13 House), is rooted in the cosmology of our ancestors. This year symbolizes a time of grounding, shelter, and transformation. Its direction is the west, a place of introspection and protection associated with Tepeyollotl. It requires stability, strength, and community focus to navigate the changes this year brings. The numeral 13 signifies completion and the harmonizing of cycles.

At the vigil, we will thank the creator for finishing one more solar cycle. We will offer songs, prayers, and a traditional flower offering. Everyone is welcome to bring a white candle or flowers.
