The Homestuck fandom is used to long Hiatuses, but this past sweep* has been like no other.
Old & New Homestucks will meet once again to take fandom pictures together…and no longer be stuck at home, which in the modern era, has never been so literal an issue outside of Hussie’s long, long webcomic before. Maybe some of us have finally caught up… But if not, it is completely fine, between the Homestuck Epilogues and Homestuck 2: Beyond Canon, some of us definitely have wished we had not, or just decided not to read them. This photoshoot will celebrate Homestuck: the good and the bad, that we want to change, but more importantly, it will celebrate the Great Update that conventions and social life are finally opening up again, starting with Metrocon! Yes, it is 2021 and there will be Homestuck photoshoots!

This year for safety, convenience, and other reasons we will be meeting in a Panel room. Given this, we will need to stick to a one hour (/50 minutes) time frame.
So based on the time limit & size of our usual crowd, I will only be able to guarantee Homestuck for Saturday, especially since Homestuck now includes Epilogues & Homestuck 2. I will also need to take less time per shot, so please pay attention when it is your character’s turn to go up.
Also, while the focus is Homestuck, that does not mean I will completely exclude Hiveswap, Sweet Bro & Hella Jeff, etc. from one or two shots, if people show up—such as the first EVERYONE in works by Hussie shot at the beginning. However, this photoshoot will focus on/prioritize Homestuck pictures first. In the event there is time and people show up from Hussie’s other works, then I will do those shots at the end with the Requests.
The Friday photoshoots will Homestuck AND Hiveswap. The Sunday Photoshoot is Homestuck and Hiveswap and Psycholonials –-Actually all the works by Hussie are good, but I am not expecting/planning for them.
We will also be following Metrocon’s Safety/Photoshoot requirements, whatever those will be at the time of the con.
I *may* focus less on flushed shipping and more on kismesis & strife shots, as that would decrease attendee physical contact…but I would like your thoughts on that.
