Crystal Waters Returns to MetroBall
GDMAF, presenting organization of MetroBall 17, is proud to announce the return of Crystal Waters with newcomer David Hernanez to the stage at the 17th annual MetroBall fundraiser. Our very own Sister Helen Holy will be the Emcee for the night.
Crystal Waters named by Billboard Magazine as “one of the most successful Dance Music Artists in the history of the Billboard Dance Music Chart.” She is best known for her string of global dance hits including her 1991 #1 signature smash, "Gypsy Woman (She's Homeless)", which garnered 3 American Music Award nominations and made her an international sensation. In 1994, her "100% Pure Love," became one of the longest charting songs, residing on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 48 weeks.
David Hernandez gained national attention with his dynamic voice and affable personality as a Top 12 American Idol finalist. A true self-made artist with the potential to transcend any genre, David is a force to be reckoned with. David’s hit single, “Beautiful” reached the Top 100 of the Billboard Dance charts while the music video was a viral sensation. The new EP “Don’t @ Me” is now streaming!
Paul J. Williams has been performing as a comedian for over 30 years with many memorable characters, including Sister Helen Holy of the First Southern Fried Self-Satisfied Baptist Church. Come and recive your belessings as she perform her mission on stage.
In addition to the entertainment, we will have our uniquely excellent silent auction of items donated to us by local and international artist and businesses. Start your weekend off right. Dress up, dress down, or come as you are. This is a family night where everyone is welcome to enjoy the evening. This is a 18+ age only venue. ID's checked at the door.
