Are you interested in using Metro Bike Share but just don't know where to begin? Come to this 1-hour beginner workshop designed to teach you how to check out a bike, learn more about the Metro Bike Share system, and learn the basics of safe riding. The classroom portion will be followed by a short demonstration of how to get started on one of our bikes. Your new knowledge will equip you to ride confidently and utilize the Metro Bike Share Stations near LA State Historic Park Farmers Market or any of the 220+ stations across Los Angeles County.

All attendees who complete this course will receive a code for a FREE 30-Day Pass with Metro Bike Share, redeemable at any time. You can redeem this code online at metro.net/bikeshare or in the Metro Bike Share app. All attendees will also receive a free bike helmet and additional Metro Bike Share swag.

Class size is limited. Pre-registration is required to guarantee a minimum number of participants. Register now to secure your spot! Once you are registered, we will send you a confirmation email and more info for the day of the class.

Who Should Sign Up: If you know how to ride a bike but are uncomfortable using one for everyday travel or recreation, this class covers bike safety basics through an engaging and interactive presentation.

Date and Location: Thursday, February 19th from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm (Multiple Sessions throughout this time)

Class Session: We’ll be hosting several sessions between 3:00 and 7:00 PM, offering a variety of opportunities to participate and engage.

Location: LA State Historic Park Famers Market
