INTRODUCTION
To date, the Red River Métis Men have been the demographic most under-represented in community development and recovery. The absence of Red River Métis Men groups, programs and projects, is a barrier to the full recovery and development of the community.

VISION:
To create a Red River Métis Men’s Group that will allow the Red River Métis Men to help support each other and their community using a distinctions-based approach.

MISSION:
To provide a safe environment for Red River Métis men to connect with other Métis men, to exchange ideas, share emotional thoughts, learn or relearn their culture and language, and begin to heal their traumas.

Collectively through camaraderie events, collaborative projects, and land-based learning practices our Red River Métis men will begin their healing journeys in a safe urban club house setting but also by reconnecting us to our roots and natural medicines throughout our homeland.

INVITATION:

On November 18th, 2025, there will be a meeting of the Metis Men at the St. Louis Center 445 Tissot St from 6:00 pm to 8:30pm. Center Phone # is 204-237-9651
There is no official agenda but we will be deciding on a name, a possibly sash design and a beaded flower or logo design with colours.
