Are you looking for a fun creative activity to do this Father's Day? Learn metalsmithing techniques at this casual metal texturing workshop in West End and return home with something beautiful, made entirely by you!
This workshop will provide everything needed to make a piece of metal jewellery or art to take home on the night.
You can choose between:
1 pair of earrings
A pendant
A Wall hanging
A brooch
Each participant also can turn their practice piece into a keyring to take home on the day!
You'll be shown step-by-step the process of texturing and shaping metal with individual steps for each participant depending on what they choose to make.
*Everything is provided for the workshop, including:
Copper, brass and aluminium sheet metal, pre-cut.
Ethically sourced Sterling Silver for the wire.
A small selection of up-cycled beads will be provided to enhance your metal jewellery, feel free to bring along any special beads that you might want to incorporate into your handmade metal piece.
As you learn how to create with metal, enjoy a tea/coffee, snacks and conversation with your fellow students. This metalsmithing workshop is great for romantic date ideas or small and intimate get-togethers with friends.
We keep our workshop numbers small to ensure one-on-one assistance and to maintain a relaxed vibe.

VENUE
The workshop is held in a trendy artist hub at The Nest Creative Space, within the private art gallery section of the venue.
