Join ChESS, MAMA and AusIMM for Metallurgy Major Night! Metallurgy is critical in global decarbonisation and the move to net zero. Metals are one of the most critical resources needed to produce solar panels, electric vehicles, batteries and infrastructure for our cities and communities. Metallurgists are responsible for turning raw material into these valuable metals, but also recycling electronic and other waste to keep these resources in circulation.
Come along to Metallurgy Major Night in week 3 - a networking event involving a panel discussion featuring metallurgy representatives from some leading companies in the resources industry, followed by casual networking over food and drinks - to learn more about what companies are doing to achieve this. Hear about the exciting work that's being done in minerals and metals processing, mining, battery production and recycling, steel-making and refining, and how you can be involved and contribute to a more sustainable and net zero future! 🌏🪨
📆 Date: Monday, 10th of March (Week 3)
🕑 Time: 5PM - 8PM
📍 Location: Hawken Engineering Building, 50-C207
