Alzhagoth is a pagan death metal band based in Padova, Italy. Formed in 2019, the group is dedicated to channeling the will of the primordial being Alzhagoth through music steeped in ritual and myth. Their lyrics and imagery draw from visions of flesh, blood, and devotion, with each performance becoming an offering to their god.
Musically, Alzhagoth blend melodic death metal with pagan themes—combining crushing riffs, harmonized leads, and arpeggios with symphonic elements that add a dark, ceremonial atmosphere. The result is a sound that’s both aggressive and immersive.
