About this Event
In this class, each participant will have exclusive use of a complete tool kit to use as well as access to hundreds of metal stamps - over 30 metal font sets and over 300 design stamps. You will be taught proper methodology, safety and guided by a professional metal stamper to create either jewelry or non-wearable items. There will be projects for all interests!
We will discuss the basic needs to get started, sources for materials and tools and a plethora of ideas of what you can do with them.
You will be provided with and guided through your choice of two (2) projects which is included in your workshop fee (additional project kits may be available at an additional cost as time allows - Venmo, CC and cash only).
This a perfect idea for a night out with friends or partners!
Guidelines:
- We will be starting ON TIME - 7pm on the dot! Please be sure to allow yourself extra time for parking and finding the classroom (upstairs in the co-working space)
- Participants may bring their own food/ drink. Please be sure beverages have a top for safety.
- Participants will have use of their own tool kit and a socially distanced work station. Note: Participants will/may be sharing metal stamps. Hand sanitizer will be readily available.
- Mask use will/may be mandatory as per local and facility mandates.
- No outside metal may be used (unless with instructor prior approval). Most metal stamps used in class are rated for softer metals and attempts to use on harder metals (like most stainless steel) may be dangerous and irreparably damage the tools and stamps.
- NO REFUNDS!!! In order to cover the rental cost of space and materials for class, I'm unfortunately unable to grant refunds. I may elect, on a case-by-case basis, to give credit for a future class, capacity permitting.
