Location: Taking place inside the Pavilion Bukit Jalil hall at Asia Pop Con.
Time: First session 3pm at Gangbusters Booth D005-D009 and Second session 5pm at Hall 2 during the closing ceremony

For the first time ever we will have a public cosplay gathering for Metal Gear Solid to pay tribute and celebrate the guests David Hayter and Stefanie Joosten for coming to Malaysia. Let's show them a warm welcome and how big of a fan Malaysians can be!
Any versions of the characters are welcome, this is a public cosplay gathering, not a specific series group so as long it's from Metal Gear and its a full costume, you are welcome to join for group photos! Regardless if you're solo or in a cos group, feel free to join and bring in any MGS cosplayers you meet along the way 💪
If you're new, even better, as this is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow MGS fans and geek out!
[IMPORTANT]
Please do not touch any cosplayers or their props unless they say its alright to do so. Also, NO REALISTIC FIREARMS ARE ALLOWED, meaning no replica guns in black will be allowed. This is an event being held at Pavilion, they are strict here.

WHAT IS THIS EVENT ABOUT?
MGS Cosplay Gathering at Asia Pop Con is a cosplay gathering of characters from the Metal Gear Solid series, organized by fans with experience in organizing the yearly Marvel X DC Cosplay Gathering at CF (not affiliated) ever year. Doesn't matter if you're doing Big Bosses, Snakes, or even random grunt because all are welcome! In fact lets have more grunts so the Snakes can do more CQC poses! This is a fan gathering not affiliated with Asia Pop Con.
DO I NEED TO PAY TO JOIN?
Nope the gathering is free, HOWEVER you will need to buy a ticket to get in since our gathering will likely have to be inside.
ARE YOU AFFILIATED WITH ASIA POP CON?
Nope! We are not affiliated with Asia Pop Con and it is just a fan gathering organized by fans and cosplayers who want to hold a gathering so that everyone can come to have a good time and show our love to this video game series.
WHO IS HOSTING THE GATHERING?
It is being hosted by the hosts of Marvel X DC Gathering Ideotics (Louis), Nick Bojio and Jeannie of MY AVENGING HEROES (formerly The Not Yet Avengers).
ARE REALISTIC GUNS ALLOWED?
Short answer is NO, the rules aren't out yet however its better to be safe than sorry. We recommend ALL MGS cosplayers including Milcosers to substitute it with NERFS or use bright color toy guns. PLEASE DO NOT bring toy guns that are black in color, owning a replica gun is ILLEGAL in Malaysia and you will get in trouble for that. If you are stubborn we will have to report you and also not allow you to join the gathering.
Where:
INSIDE the convention hall, Gangbuster Comic Zone for 1st gathering and near the stage for the 2nd gathering.
Time:
There will be two timeslots, the second one being the main one.
3PM - Gather at Gangbuster Comic Zone booth D005-D009, there will be a MGS Art Tribute Exhibition there.
5PM - Gather at Hall 2 (Panel Session Hall)
We'll be doing groups and pairings based on the series then a big group photo for everyone. If you have any suggestions, please do let us know on that day!
