Experience the art of metal embossing with these Four Projects. Try your hand at embellishing a notebook, key fob, wooden box and a greetings card, using 4 different metals.
When you emboss metal, you participate in an art form that has existed for centuries.
Metal embossing is used to impart a design upon metal sheets. The metal is pushed with an embossing tool or stylus in order to create a raised effect on the opposite side. By placing the metal sheet on a rubber or foam pad, the positive impression has a smooth surface that will shine or can take pigment.
I will then guide you on how to get the 3D effect and the vintage look.
Everything is included, the tools, paint, tracing paper, an adhesive sheet, a workboard, a selection of designs and my help, guidance and knowledge. And not forgetting the cake and drink of your choice all for £39.
This is an ideal workshop for both novice and experienced crafters.
