Messiah Sing-Along 2024: Join the Holiday Fun!The Arts at Ascension (TA3) is thrilled to announce the Messiah Sing-Along 2024, a joyous community event celebrating the holiday season. This production brings together the Arizona Masterworks Chorale (AMC), the Ascension Lutheran Congregation (ALC), the North Scottsdale United Methodist Chancel Choir (NSUMC) and the Women’s Orchestra of Arizona (WOA) in a collaborative effort to create an unforgettable experience at the North Scottsdale United Methodist Church.
Event Details: Date: Sunday, November 24, 2024 Time: Event starts at 3:00 PM Location: North Scottsdale United Methodist Church (NSUMC), 11735 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85254 Admission: Free, with a recommended per-family donation of $20
Event Highlights: TA3 invites the entire community to a free, family-friendly afternoon to sing the magnificent choruses of George Frederick Handel’s classic holiday oratorio “Messiah.” This annual sing-along serves as a fundraiser for AMC and WOA, with proceeds supporting their 2024-2025 season activities. The event is designed to be relaxed and casual, ensuring everyone feels welcome to join in the festivities or simply enjoy the music.

• He Shall Feed His Flock (Alto and Soprano Solo)
• Chorus: His Yoke is Easy
• Chorus: Hallelujah!
Audience Participation: Everyone is invited to sing along with the choruses or sit back and enjoy the performance. Seating is open, and attendees are encouraged to dress in "holiday casual" attire. Vocal scores can be downloaded from the TA3 website.
