Together We Fly! invites young people to express their culture, feelings, and ideas of friendship, and to share them with communities across the North East and around the world.
Write a message of friendship in your chosen language, then fold it into a paper butterfly.
You’re welcome to take your butterfly home. If you choose to leave one behind, it will become part of a collective artwork displayed at Newcastle Civic Centre from April 2026, symbolising connection, creativity, and friendship across borders.
