We are thrilled to announce the return of the internationally renowned Merz Trio!Known for their innovative and engaging approach to chamber music, the Merz Trio—featuring Brigid Coleridge (violin), Julia Yang (cello), and Fei-Fei Dong (piano)—weave together classical masterpieces, contemporary works, and their own unique arrangements of beloved and rediscovered pieces. Their performances are enhanced by spoken insights from the artists, creating a deeply immersive experience for audiences.
Merz Trio’s ability to blend storytelling with virtuosic performance makes them one of the most exciting ensembles to hear today. Their Reading program will introduce an atmospheric “Night Song” set that includes works of Hildegard von Bingen, Alma Mahler, Thelonius Monk and more, along with trios of Haydn and Brahms.
