Our FREE weekly chess club meetings are held at 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM, this week's session on June 26th will be run online. The following week, July 3rd, will be in person.Online sessions are run on Discord. Please join our Discord server in advance using this link: https://discord.gg/C2tUJvXYsj
Note that Discord requires you to be 13 years or older to register, so if your child would like to play, please create an account for them.
We also use Lichess to play and analyze games. Please create your free Lichess account before joining the session, then join our Mernda Chess Club Team using the following link: https://lichess.org/team/mernda-chess-club
All ages and skill levels are welcome to come along for a casual game! We have primary and secondary school children attending, as well as adults and retirees.
The evening is informal, it runs from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and you can arrive and leave any time. The main session runs on Discord.
